SUPER-LIGHT “ HI-TORQUE” AXLES - For the ultimate in weight savings, Mark Williams has introduced the SUPER-LIGHT “HI-TORQUE” axle. In an effort to reduce reciprocating weight, these axles have the gun drilled bore enlarged to 7/8” along with extensive milling of the axle flanges. This in conjunction with the additional machining behind the MW name plate and revised axle profile result in a weight savings of 29% over the standard gun drilled MW axles. 35 spline super-light axles can be used for cars weighing up to 1800 lbs while 40 spline super-light axles are recommended for vehicles over 1800 lbs
